Compost Extract Applications
Bring Your Soil to Life — We Do the Work.
Your garden beds, trees, shrubs, and edible plantings are only as healthy as the biology underneath them. Most landscapes are running on depleted or imbalanced soil — the result of years of synthetic inputs, compaction, and disruption to the natural soil food web.
A compost extract application puts that biology back. We come to your property and apply our living, microbe-rich compost extract directly to your soil and root zones — introducing beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes at the moment and location where they can do the most good.
No bulk material to haul. No mess. No chemicals. Just living biology, applied where it counts.
What's Included
- On-site application of fresh, biologically active compost extract
- Low-pressure spray equipment for even, gentle coverage of soil and root zones
- Application timed for optimal biological establishment

What It's Good For
- Vegetable and food gardens — improve nutrient cycling and root health at the start of the season
- Fruit trees and berry bushes — support root zone biology for stronger establishment and fruit production
- Flower beds and perennial borders — build long-term soil fertility without synthetic inputs
- Shrubs and hedgerows — improve soil structure and biological activity around established plantings
- New plantings and transplants — give roots a living microbial community to grow into from day one
- Soil restoration — kick-start recovery on ground that has been chemically treated, compacted, or neglected
How It Works
We apply fresh compost extract using low-pressure spray equipment — covering the soil surface and root zones of your target areas evenly and gently. The biology in the extract is immediately available to establish in your soil, begin cycling nutrients, and support root development.
For best results, avoid heavy watering or rain within a few hours of application to allow the microbes time to begin establishing. Light watering the following day helps drive the biology into the root zone.
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly will I see results?
Biological changes happen underground first — improved root development, better nutrient availability, and increased microbial activity typically become visible above ground within a few weeks as plants respond to a healthier root zone environment. Results vary depending on your starting soil conditions.
Do I need more than one application?
A single application delivers a meaningful biological boost. For properties with heavily depleted or chemically treated soil, repeated applications over the season will accelerate recovery. We also offer ongoing Biological Lawn Care programs if you are looking for structured, season-long support.
Is it safe for children, pets, and pollinators?
Completely. No synthetic inputs, no chemicals, no toxins — just biology. There are no re-entry delays and no warning signs required.
What if my property is larger or more complex?
Reach out directly and we will put together a custom quote. Larger acreage, orchards, market gardens, and multi-zone properties are all things we can work with.
Can I combine this with a lawn treatment program?
Absolutely — and it makes sense to do both if you have both lawn and garden areas. Contact us and we can coordinate a visit that covers everything at once.
